"The Woody" is approx 10k from Chch central located on S.H.1 on the outskirts of Christchurch as you head North to Kaikoura & open 7 days a week.

With North Canty's largest Garden Bar & our large contemporary Patio Bar, "The Woody" is the perfect place for live outdoor gigs, corporate & private functions & BBQs. There are two areas that our live gigs use... one is the Patio Bar & the other is the main outdoor stage located in the Garden Bar.

Attached to the Patio Bar is our Spurz Steakhouse & Restaurant, serving families, tourists & events our delicious & traditional steaks & great meals at a family price.

The Roadside Bar & Patio looks out directly onto State Highway One & serves as a welcome break to our many travellers & passers-by. It has our TAB where many a good punt has been won... & lost. The Roadside Bar also host our 18 machine Gaming Room facility where you can enjoy a "crack at the pokies" in privacy.
