Learn how to pattern make Zero Waste garments and meet with designers and pattern makers from your local industry.
There aren’t many ZW designers in the world & the information on how to achieve zero waste through design is scarce so this is the best opportunity for NZ brands and individuals to pick up some zw fashion design skills in order to start saving fabric, time and money right now.
Zero/minimal waste design is a growing trend being picked up by large fashion companies. Decathlon who now has a full Minimal Waste Design team, saved 783km of fabric from going to landfill in 2021 by using similar techniques as to what you will learn in these classes.
I’m offering 3 different classes all useful for anyone who works in the fashion industry and anyone who studies fashion design.
