It’s time for an update!

At last after the best part of a decade, there are signs that things are about to get underway along the Ōtākaro Avon River Corridor (ŌARC). So we have pulled together key people from the Christchurch City Council and the new Red Zones Transformative Land Use Group to give our communities an update.

This will cover the first tranche of capital works by Council in the ŌARC: new footbridges and a new landing (one of eight proposed for the ŌARC). Council is currently seeking your feedback on these plans until the end of June: What do you think of the new pedestrian bridges? How should the Dallington landing be laid out, what services should it provide?
