Parnell Heritage Journal launch

Join Parnell Heritage and our guest speakers, author Susan Buckland and Parnell residents Simon Cutter and Rob Roche, at Parnell Library to celebrate the publication of the eighth issue of the Parnell Heritage Journal.

The diverse stories in this issue include the Māori hospital in Judges’ Bay; the histories of three heritage houses in Parnell which have been lost to development; the Ernest and Marion Davis Library at Auckland Hospital; George Fraser’s iron foundry in Stanley Street and many more.

Copies of the Journal will be available on the night for $15 each (cash only). Back issues also available.

The event starts at 6.30 pm, with drinks and canapes served from 6 pm. Koha appreciated. All proceeds to Parnell Heritage Inc.
