We’re here to help!

This workshop gives you an overview of what’s required to plan an event in Horowhenua, and we will give you tips and tricks on promoting your event to attract large numbers of attendees.

Whether organising a small or large scale event, come along to our Events Workshops series to learn more about the event planning process. Council staff and event coordinators will be on hand to share advice, give you support and guidance, and answer any questions you have.

This is the first in the series of workshops designed to make the event planning process easier. You’re also welcome to attend other upcoming events workshops:

Wednesday 24th May – Event Grants & Funding
Wednesday 31st May - Traffic Management, Security, Māori Wardens & using Council Parks and Facilities
Wednesday 7th June – Food Permits, Amusements & Liquor Licencing
Wednesday 14th June – Health and Safety and Emergency Management
