“Radiant but raw, presenting beautifully melodic odes of unvarnished truths” - Jeff Milo, Deep Cutz

“Interlinked songs performed with nuance and sensitivity. [Cocco] has a powerful voice, but for this series she dials it back to let complex, shifting textures and clever lyrics come to the fore.” - Renee Liang, Melodic Magazine

“I’m just in awe of the concept. It’s really creative and relatable. I haven’t felt this excited about music in a long time.” - Kirsty Bromley, Singer-Songwriter

After incubating in Whangarei for lockdown 2020, American composer and performer Maggie Cocco premiered LIKE A MOTH, a song cycle that would go on to win multiple awards, including Best Music, Auckland Fringe 2021. The poignant and often improvised music moved people across New Zealand and USA until it was retired to the studio in 2022. Now, after a year of recording and composing, Maggie Cocco returns to audiences with The Elodie Tour, featuring LIKE A MOTH and two new shows: MORPHOSIS (a song cycle in development) and a selection of covers reimagined.

"Atmospheric and sultry" Mema Wilda's music is based on the colourful experiences and walks of life; fully acknowledged and enthusiastically expressed through thorough creativity. Already an Auckland favorite, "it’s early days in Mema’s career and it’s exciting to think where she will go." - Melodic Magazine
