Waikato Museum presents a diverse and exciting programme of exhibitions and activities that provide a rich experience of the arts and culture of the region. The museum focuses on a programme that tells the stories of our arts, history, culture and science.
Our galleries exhibit a range of touring exhibitions, and exhibitions featuring the collection (including the majestic 200 year old carved waka taua – Te Winika), artwork by prominent New Zealand and regional artists and an interactive science experience.
A regular programme of activities is always available to further enhance your visit, as well as the Museum Shop at ArtsPost.
