Chrys Berryman (499M) on his second album “Black Hole” revisits the themes of his first by diving once again into his hometown Waimate’s septic tank and dredging up more stories from his difficult 50/60’s childhood.

Songs about a holy roller Baptism that goes pear shaped, a friends uncle who morphed into a Howard “End Times” Hughes lookalike, and Vic Herb and Len, who thought “Untreated Depression” was the name of a racehorse.

Joining Chrys (Humariri St) Berryman will be Tim (Target St) Dodd on bass and Stefan (Kiwi Road) Neville on drums. Lydia (Ex Huia Rd) Tyrell will be the first act.. “It’s a Pt Chev affair” (Sly Stone).

Listen to Chrys' first album 499M on Bandcamp.
