About Art: Here and There

An art exhibition featuring works from Helen Sutherland and Jean Young.

Jean Young was born and raised in Australia and Helen Sutherland was born and raised in Scotland. They emigrated to New Zealand and met here via their art teacher Sue Artner. Both have a mutual passion for painting which is evident in their upcoming exhibition. Jean shares her love of colour through landscapes and flowers while Helen’s love for the “auld country” is obvious in her portrayal of Scotland in various forms.
