Abstract Painting for Beginners Workshop

Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This workshop will run either 7 April 2019 or 21 September 2019 10 AM - 4 PM.

Want to explore abstraction? Want to develop your creative painting skills? Build your confidence to use paint as an extension of your own personal creative thinking. You will explore your own expressions, what you think, feel and imagine using a variety of media.

What to bring:
Only your lunch. Materials are included within this course fee.

Who should attend?
Maybe you've never ever painted before, but you're curious, maybe even a bit scared. you don't have clue where to begin. This one painting class will be perfect for you! You'll be immersed in your creativity and learn exactly how to created beautiful textured paintings in no time. No more fear of the unknown.

Or maybe you paint 'a little' from time to time in another medium. You love it, but you never seem to have the time to learn 'properly'. Painting seems to be an indulgence, where's the time for it? Use this day to kickstart your painting habit in this new form.
