Sir Edmund Hillary is one of New Zealand’s most famous and most inspirational sons. He is admired all over the wold for his leadership, his spirit of adventure and his philanthropic work in Nepal. Sir Ed founded The Himalayan Trust in the 1960s to bring education, health care and safe water to remote communities in Nepal. The Himalayan Trust and its ongoing work in Nepal is Sir Ed’s greatest legacy.
2019 would have been Sir Ed’s 100th birthday. To honour this centenary year, Land Rover are delighted to present an evening with Sir Ranulph Fiennes in support of the Himlayan Trust.

Sir Ranulph Fiennes is described by the Guinness Book of Records as “The Greatest Living Explorer” whose remarkable achievements include first to reach both Poles, first to cross the Arctic and Antarctic oceans, first to circumnavigate the World along it’s polar axis and the completion of 7 marathons in 7 continents in 7 days.

The Himalayan Trust is delighted that Sir Ranulph will join us to celebrate Sir Edmund Hillary’s centenary year and raise vital funds for our work Nepal. Your ticket includes a sumptuous 3 course set menu, 5 hour set beverage package (exc spirits and cocktails), Presentations from Sir Ranulph Fiennes OBE and Peter Hillary, fantastic live & silent auction items and live entertainment.
