Ashley Gorge Walk and Kiwi Guardian Explorer

Pack a picnic and your togs (weather permitting) and head on out to Ashley Gorge Recreation Reserve to see how the locals are helping nature.

There will be guided walks on the new community constructed Ashley Gorge Loop Track, demonstrations on their trapping programme and wasp control, hand-on activities for children, plus a sausage sizzle.

Special guest appearance by conservation dogs Cody and Macca demonstrating their amazing pest and species detection work!

Children that complete the treasure hut on the 45-minute easy-walking track will receive the unique code-word to claim their Kiwi Guardian Explorer medal!
