Auckland Heritage Festival - Central Auckland Volcanoes

Geologist and author Bruce Hayward will lead this 8 km guided walk around six of central Auckland's volcanoes - Auckland Domain, Grafton, Mt Eden, Te Pou Hawaiki, Mt St John, Mt Hobson.

He will point out places of interest related to the history and growth of the city and how the volcanoes erupted and have subsequently been partly quarried , built over or turned into cherished heritage parks of Auckland.
