Auckland Lantern Festival is back and is celebrating 20 years!
Come and enjoy New Zealand’s largest Chinese festival, welcoming in the Year of the Pig, from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 February in Auckland Domain.
Be entertained and dazzled by hundreds of handmade Chinese lanterns, music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, traditional Chinese art and craft – there's a range of activities for all ages.
Plus, treat your taste buds to a delicious dish from our wide-range of Asian food stalls – there will be so much to choose from you will have to let your nose guide your way!
If you’re all about the lanterns and less about the crowds, be sure to head to the Domain on Thursday 14 February for the lantern appreciation night (there will be no stalls, live entertainment or food on this night).
