Auckland Quilt Symposium 2019

New Zealand's National Quilt Symposium, entitiled 'Illuminating Creativity' will be celebrated in Auckland in 2019.

This gathering of quilters from NZ and beyond is held every two years.

Twelve international textile exhibitions including: 'Suffrage in Stitches,' 'Heritage Through the Ages', 'HERstory - A Celebration of Strong Women,' 'Connections, SAQA Oceania', 'Crossing Oceans', '12 by the Dozen', international textile artists, 'SAlt Exhibition Hashtag', 'Aotearoa Quilters Challenge', 'Western Australian Inspired', 'Taniko Weaving by Ku Bailey', 'Textiles as Art by Reece Scannel', 'Hoffman Challenge', 'Passion & Proportion II', Nancy Crow class exhibition.

Six days of exhibitions, classes, merchants, stitching, and inspiration.
Exhibitions open to all - come and see quilting from traditional bedding to artworks.

Nearly 30 merchants with stalls of everything quilt related and more.
