What does a double bass eat? Double bass don't think like humans. They don't see what we see, hear what we hear, smell what we smell, feel what we feel, much less think what we think. If they reason at all it is highly unlikely they reason as we do.
They have their own wooden anatomy which requires nourishment but not from any natural food source. A double bass must have a human audience and their listening abilities. A double bass follows some sort of reasoning which goes something like, "I'm a double bass, I have an audience, let's eat!"
Please don't allow this double bass to go hungry. Come down to Downbeat and enjoy the woody tones of compositions penned by Mostyn Cole alongside some superb and not often heard b-side jazz covers from artists including Ornette Coleman, Charles Mingus, Tony Williams, Avishi Cohen, Bud Powell and Jaco Pastorius.
