Beach Sunset Photography: CANCELLED

Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

This course, new for 2019, runs on Saturday 17 August 2019, 4pm - 7pm at Muriwai Beach, West Auckland.

Learn some basic techniques for taking good sunset photography.

You'll arrive at the location early allowing time to choose the best vantage points, set up gear, take some test shots including water reflections. Your tutor will give advise on exposure, lens, filters and composition. Bring any gear that you have including a tripod.

This course is for digital photographers who already know the basics of how to use their cameras in manual mode (aperture, exposure, ISO, white balance etc).

The venue is Muriwai Beach. Exact course location and meeting point will be confirmed closer to the time. Please note we'll need to defer the course at short notice if the weather conditions are not conducive to this type of photography.
