Beginners Art Class

This class is designed to teach you the absolute beginner techniques you need on how to start a painting using acrylic paints onto canvas.

You will learn basic art techniques along with some knowledge on materials you use including different mediums.

At the end of the class you will walk away with your very own painting you created whilst there and some new friends.

This class is happening inside the XCHC building at Pedro's Cafe which will be open on the day for coffee and light lunch. This is a calming, beautifully creative environment in which to learn a creative skill.

Your tutor Ann-Marie Drinkell (Annie) has been tutoring, painting and selling her artwork in NZ for over 15 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Psychology and believes in the power of art used as a tool towards healing. "I encourage everyone to enter the creative zone, there is simply no feeling quite like it, its a form of meditation for me and I would love for you to experience it too!" Annie
