Beginners Art Making Express: 6-8 Years

A shorter session, designed for 6-8 year olds, students will learn how to make exciting and inventive works of art using paint, drawing and building with a variety of art materials and themes to encourage resourceful artistic skills.

Come and join our friendly and imaginative class where we create exciting and inventive artworks. Using a range of materials, there will be something different every week and something for everyone to enjoy. Here we will build the stepping stones to an interest in visual arts.

The tutor designs their own programme for the term and this changes term by term.

About the tutor:
Olive Breach
Olive is a local artist who loves the special qualities clay provides as an artistic medium in her art practice. For the past two years Olive has enjoyed teaching children in the after school art programme (clay making, print making, drawing and painting) at a local intermediate school.
