Beginners' GC Tribal Bellydance Classes

Our goal is to share our joy and enthusiasm for Tribal belly dance. We're proud to be a Gypsy Caravan [GC] Tribal Bellydance sister school, and we'd love to bring this beautiful art form to you!

In this class, we introduce how to stand and dance safely, as well as learn simple strengthening techniques to help execute basic Gypsy Caravan Tribal Bellydance movements. We will study the four fast families of the repertoire and some simple slow moves, as well as common formations. All welcome!

​We also offer the most affordable belly dance classes in Christchurch, so no matter the situtation, our tribe can find freedom in dance! Cost is $10 per class, or concession card $90 for ten classes.

Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, we are a culturally diverse tribe with different backgrounds, genders, ages, and fitness levels. Our search for inspiration, vitality, and substance in our lives has drawn us together to dance.
