This is a hands on sharpening experience for beginners to learn what makes a blade sharp, how to sharpen a knife, and how to keep it sharp with regular maintenance it. Please bring one knife of your choice to sharpen.

"Having a blunt knife can make tasks “chore like”, using sharp knife can change that experience to something tangible and enjoyable."

This class will cover:
- At the beginning of the class there be a brief introduction to what is a ‘sharp knife’ and why you should have one.

- During the class we will be using serval grades of diamond shaping stones, to give your worn blade a new geometry.

- Once your blade has a “burr” or “wire like” edge it will be “honed” use our in house Stackhouse knives strops.

There will be a small window to purchase these diamond pad kits and strops, (eftpos available), before ending the evening with drinks and cheese board to test out the sharpness of your knife.

Class is limited to 10 students - great as group event.
