This class is best suited for students with some prior metal working knowledge.

You will design a project in the morning and work throughout the day to complete it, we will be working with mild steel. For those wanting to complete more advanced projects you may want to book additional classes to finish your project.

You will have full access to the studio workshop. The induction will cover basic use of the forge, blacksmithing tools, the power hammer, grinding and cutting tools and standard workshop health & safety practices.

Projects can include, tool making and decorative work like:
- Tools - Tongs, hammers and punches
- Utensils (not knives) - Spatula, spoon, meat fork
- Decorative - Brackets, numbers/letters, signage

Please note: This is not a knife making class.
