This class is about learning by doing, the only objective is to come and enjoy the process of blacksmithing and forging. Students will be provided with a bar stock steel and will create mini projects each lesson to learn the basic skills, such as bottle openers.

You will have full access to Shea's studio, the induction will cover basic use of the forge, blacksmithing tools, the power hammer, grinding and cutting tools and standard workshop health & safety practices.

Students can attend individual sessions or book in for the full term of 7 sessions.

Techniques may include but are not limited too:
- Tapering
- Squaring
- Upsetting
- Twisting
- Drawing
- Offsetting
- Splaying
- Hole-punching
- Drifting

There is a limit of six places per course.
