A charming old school house at Mount Bruce Lodge has become a gallery of batiks and drawings.
On arrival the ‘creative vibes’ are seen as hanging flower baskets with bright woven fabrics in the courtyard.
Inside, we have bright-coloured pictures along with cards and jars of plants with batik pieces attache. these are available to peruse and purchase.
Large calico frames are worth investigating as the hand-done drawings have everyone 'seeing things' which someone else hasn’t noticed. They include the Big Feather, the 2 Hearts and the Wild Totems.
Humour is well used especially with upcycled items and people often leave chuckling!
