Car Maintenance - The Basics Course

Get to grips with basic maintenance of your vehicle, find out what to look for in the event of a breakdown and more.

Learn what makes your car go, basic maintenance of your vehicle including servicing a vehicle, checking fuses and changing a tyre.

Please note that part of this workshop is held outdoors so please dress according to the weather – sun hats in summer and warm clothes in winter. (If the weather is very bad in the afternoon and the practical part can't happen, this will be rescheduled).

By the end of the one-day workshop, you'll be able to:
- Describe the routine service tasks required to maintain a vehicle
- Undertake minor maintenance on your vehicle
- Describe safety considerations when working with vehicles
- Undertake minor “trouble shooting” when an issue arises
