Children's Fun and Learning

Join the DOC ranger for a range of great fun activities based in and around the visitor centre. This is also a great opportunity to work on getting your Kiwi Guardian medal. Come dressed for the outdoors with good footwear and prepared for learning and adventure. This activity is suitable for children aged 5 -10yrs. accompanied by an adult. Ph 078679080 to book.

Why not bring a picnic and stay for lunch in the beautiful Kauaeranga Valley - there are picnic tables dotted around the visitor centre and a range of short walks further up the valley. There is also the giant board game great for the whole family to play on the lawn.
