Clay Class - Fairies

Come and indulge your child and your inner child, and make a clay fairy or elf using modelling, handbuilding, fabric imprinting and painting techniques.

These are open to all ages (from the minimum age stated), so adults can create alongside their child, or drop them off so they can surprise you with their art piece. Fairies will be made with white clay to which you can add coloured slip decoration. All tools, aprons, materials and kiln firing provided. $28 per person which includes a clear glaze over the top. Age 5+ .

Working with clay has therapeutic benefits, is good for fine motor skills and tactile stimulation, is easy to manipulate and best of all, is great fun! I will fire the pieces twice – once for bisque and once for glaze, and then they are ready to pick up around 6 weeks after the class.
