Craft Corner: An Archaeological Dig of Lost Park Treasures

Over the years many strange and wonderful things have been found buried in the park. The found items give us a glimpse into how the park was used by humans and animals.

Over three weekends starting on the 9th March, come into the Huia Lodge Discovery Hub to conduct your own archaeological dig and see what you can find. If you find all the lost items, you can collect a fossil to take home!

The dig will be happening on the deck between Huia Lodge and the Education Centre, so this activity is weather dependent.

Suitable for ages 2 and up. Parent supervision is required.

Saturday 9th, 16th, and 23rd
Sunday 10th, 17th, and 24th
