Let's celebrate!

We would love for you to join us on Thursday 28 November from 5pm in our City Centre for the final Night Market of 2019.

We will be celebrating the 50th Night Market with amazing performances from across the community and like any good celebration, we'll be serving up cake! Porirua Mayor Anita Baker will be there cutting and serving cake for everyone to enjoy before the performances start at 5.15pm!

Every year we celebrate te Reo Māori and Pacific island languages of our city as part of New Zealand's Language Weeks.

We are pleased to bring everyone together once again with help from our friends at the Ministry of Pacific Peoples for a wonderful evening of outdoor cultural performances for the eight Language Weeks we have shared this year. You won't want to miss the Cook Islander, Tongan, Māori, Tuvaluan, Fijian, Niuean, Tokelaun and Samoan stage performances in our City Centre so we really hope to see you down there.

Join us for a special one-night-only selection of food truck foods, including hangi and chop suey. Yum!
Our food truck friends from Wellington Food Truck Collective are serving up delicious kai for the whole whānau. Why not plan a night off from making dinner this week eh?
