This comprehensive, practical workshop covers all our Diversity Committee Workshop series topics in one session.
It is ideal for organisations planning to set up a diversity and inclusion committee and those wanting to review the work of an existing group.
Participants will explore the various roles diversity and inclusion committees typically undertake, how to scope out goals for your committee, how to write a diversity and inclusion plan and participants will get access to resources including top tips and a diversity and inclusion plan template.
The workshop will explain step-by-step how to go about setting up a diversity and inclusion committee, and how to empower your champions of diversity to achieve the organisation’s goals.
It offers ample opportunities for interaction, questions and discussion – it’s a great place to sound out ideas, plus a guest speaker from one of our member organisations will share their own experience with their diversity and inclusion committee or council.
This workshop will be facilitated by Diversity Works New Zealand’s Chief Executive Rachel Hopkins.
