Neurodiverse organisation One: Unique Minds runs social groups focusing on the holistic growth of skills while engaging in fun activities. These groups include Dungeons & Dragons, martial arts, and video gaming.

In this workshop, Jason Edgecombe focuses on Dungeons and Dragons, a role-playing game wherein players have physical sheets of paper with character traits and stats which they must act out through a variety of scenarios created via narration and maps.

Join Jason as he explains how this game increases the abilities of reading comprehension, maths, team-building skills, interpersonal skills, public speaking, and inner confidence, while still being ridiculously fun!

Hear how the narrative storylines are designed to create logical and moral dilemmas that the players are able to discuss and solve together, while incorporating all the best elements of high fantasy, including elves, magic, flying ships, and many strange creatures.
