Eden Arts Art Schools Award

Top student work from the Auckland art schools all under one roof!

Now in its ninth year and generously hosted this year by Webb's Auction House in Mt Eden, the Eden Arts award brings together the major Auckland art schools and offers up to $8500 in prize money to current undergraduates. Up to five finalists from each school - AUT, Elam, MIT, Unitec and Whitecliffe - are invited to submit work which is then judged (anonymously) by an independent judging panel selected by the Eden Arts Trust.

Eden Arts is pleased to announce that this year's judges are artist Sara Hughes, Curator | Kaitiaki Whakaaturanga at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery Ioana Gordon-Smith, and freelance writer and curator Francis McWhannell.

The award exhibition promises an exciting and true glimpse into the art practices of tomorrow's new artists since no size or medium restrictions are placed on submissions.
