Come along to New Plymouth's first pool snorkel trail - learn how to snorkel and what animals live in our local moana with our "artificial reef"*! Fun for the whole family (koha welcome).

Ages 7yrs+ only and no experience required! We have all the gear you need just bring your togs and towel and pay as normal at the front desk .

Big thanks to our supporters, sponsors and volunteers who make this day possible including; Todd Energy Aquatic Centre, DOC Taranaki, Experiencing Marine Reserves and Nga Motu Marine Reserve Society.

Cost: Normal pool entry fee - register at poolside!
Gear: We provide snorkels, masks and fins with the guidance of a volunteer snorkel guide (masks and snorkels may not be used unsupervised).
Note: Normal pool rules apply - Children must be supervised at all times.

*Artificial reef = images of local marine species weighed to the pool floor and hoops set up underwater to duckdive through.
