Erin Cole-Baker and the Little Ripples bring you their signature downbeat folk/country sound with three-part harmonies, varied beats and good summer vibes!
The USA born, New Zealand raised musician Erin Cole-Baker has recently released her 5th album "Till the feeling's right" a lush, gorgeously produced and performed feat of beauty captured mostly live to tape at ANZAC rd studio.
Cole-Baker's songwriting and her live delivery come from a place of great honesty and beauty, lead by her gorgeous silvery voice and extraordinary sense of melody.
Erin spent six years in Oregon where she quickly established herself as "one of the more constant and compelling voices on the Central Oregon music scene” (GO! Magazine), becoming a Breedlove artist and returning to her roots in New Zealand to raise a family.
She has a fragile voice, some very interesting songs and warmth as an intimate performer....from that long tradition of thoughtful, introspective folk singers and writers which goes right back to Judy Collins and very early Joni Mitchell.
— Graham Reid (Elsewhere)
It’s the voice that guides these songs into place, gentle, but sure of themselves; Songs that remind me of the pre-mainstream-pop-fame version of the Dixie Chicks.
— Simon Sweetman (Off The Tracks)
