Exhibition by D C Boyle - oil paintings and mixed media.

In endeavouring to expunge a narrative concerning these works I can only contend that explaining the leanings of such a banal/complex fellow as myself and my intentions towards the art world leaves me at one breathless with delight yet dulled into a coma concerning my usual emotive condition. The glass abysses reflect the mystery of life and living and death.

The vortexes and swirls draw me in allowing escapism from everything in a healthier form than other glass screens all around us. To explain them in a more sophisticated manner would be pretentious and dreary beyond most folk’s endurance. There is nothing Freudian in these works. In conjunction with my landlord I would wish to sell a few.

A preliminary glimpse at these works may mesmerise you beyond being able to leave the premises but have no fear the staff have been advised to throw a glass of chilled water over you if you become frozen with delight. I am D C Boyle and that’s enough to know. I pray you make it safely home after your soul has been elevated to such dizzying heights.
