Exploring Mixed Media

Exploring Mixed Media is a wonderful opportunity for children aged 7-12 years old to pick up artistic skills. Starting with drawing and painting, students will spend 8 weeks creating 2D and 3D art pieces while learning new skills through make-and-take activities and handling various materials.

About the tutor: Dasul Lee is an Auckland-based artist who has a cross cultural background.She holds Bachelors of Visual Arts and gained her Masters in Fine Arts in 2015 from Auckland University. She has been involved in a number of group shows in New Zealand and was selected as a finalist for MMCA Art Awards(2016) and Small Sculpture Prize(2019)

While developing her practice as an artist, she has worked at Auckland Museum for over one and half years being involved in delivering and assisting classes for children.
