Exploring Sacred Spaces

This event is organised by the Auckland Inter-Faith Council to promote understanding of the diverse faiths of our city, and is part of the Auckland Heritage Festival 2019.

Muslim people in West Auckland come from many countries and backgrounds. Some have fled war or persecution, others have come simply to enjoy a better lifestyle for their families. Visit the West Auckland Masjid & Islamic Centre in Ranui to hear stories from people who have made Auckland their home.

There will be a chance for questions and answers about the Muslim faith and issues facing the local community.
