Exploring Windows 10 Workshop Set

This is a new concept from SeniorNet, known as a workshop set.

There are 4 sessions that are linked but can be booked separately depending on your requirements and current knowledge.

Discover some of the essential tools in Windows 10.

Thursday 7th February:
- Modify the Start menu
- Admin Menu (Right click on Start Menu
- The Action Centre
- The Setting Options
- Find and Explore the Control Panel

Thursday 14th February:
- File Explorer
- Check the files in Quick Access
- Search for files
- Work with an Application
- Make a Folder and save a Data File
- Explore ways to open a data file

Thursday 21st February:
- Decide which Browser to use
- The Edge
- Photos
- Make 3D pictures with Paint 3D

Thursday 28th February:
- Resize Windows – “Corner Snap”
- Use the Recycle Bin
- Intelligent Screengrabs
- Explore Some Windows Tools
- Extras on the New Apps
- Talk to Cortana

Computers are available for your use but you may bring your own device to the course. 2-hour sessions for four weeks. The workshop set runs on 4 consecutive Thursday afternoons for 2 hours from 1.30 pm.

Bookings essential but the workshop set is free for financial members. Must be current members of SeniorNet Glenfield or join (annual fee $30). If you are new to SeniorNet you are invited to attend a Meet and Greet session on a Monday morning between 10 am and 12md. Ring for an appointment.
