F.A.W.C! Heard it through the grapevine: CANCELLED

Flora and F.A.W.C! are colliding at Te Awa’s very own Vineyard Plants Nursery! If you’ve ever been interested in the process of vine to bottle, understanding a little bit more the provenance of wine, and our new world twists on this old world tradition, this event has you covered – learn about where it all starts, the importance of clones, and have all your curly queries answered at a guided tour through the premium grapevine nursery. Sample some seriously delicious wines (Verdelho, Albarino, single clone Chardonnay, and Newton WR Syrah just to name a few…) from barrel samples and finished wines.

The cherry (or should we say grape?) will then be put on top of the evening when the Te Awa Restaurant team will swoop in to look after your culinary needs with a three-course (Provence style) meal with wine pairings, served amongst the baby vines.

Ticket price includes a guided tour through the nursery, wine samples and dinner with wine pairings.
