Festival of Adult Learning Open Day

Come down to the hub on this unique open day, and learn all about the different opportunities for adult learning that the community of Phillipstown offers!

We'll feature events from English Language Partners, Greening the Rubble, The Muse. Otautahi Creative Spaces, Fitclub at The Hub, A Communal Loaf and our very own crafts groups. Participate in a class or watch a demonstration: Kombucha, Music Making, Etching, Gardening and Growing Food, Recycling and lots lots more. Wander around and gate a taste of what happens at the hub in an ordinary week, and the range of talents and skills that our community brings to this amazing community space.

We are opening our local space to the whole city and invite everyone to sample our offerings. It's one of Christchurch's best kept secrets that Phillipstown Hub is a place to get involved in all sorts of activities. We are easy to find, there is parking here and buses close by. Come and visit anytime, but particularly on Saturday 7 September to appreciate the buzz.
