For music and poetry lovers, time for indulgence and inspiration when folk- jazz and poetry meet amongst the bookshelves of Rotorua's acclaimed McLeod's Booksellers.
The evening features:
- Siobhan Harvey acclaimed poet, prose writer, editor, reviewer, and lecturer of creative writing at Auckland University of Technology.
- Hanna Wiskari-Griffiths saxophonist & Tristan Hancock guitarist (https://www.facebook.com/pg/tristanandhanna) and explorers of the world of jazz world and Swedish traditional music who will also create improvised soundscapes with influences from India and Aotearoa in an exciting collaboration with
- Angela Frank, Rotorua poet, performer and arts advocate.
- Plus spot readings by invited local poets.
The event is suitable for all ages however may have more appeal to adults. A koha/ donation is most welcome.
Event supported by McLeod Booksellers and Rotorua Lakes Council, and is organised by Frank Walker - an art collaboration of Angela Frank and Jill Walker.
