Forest & Bird: Loading Docs - Screening & Talk

Come along to watch some of Loading Docs short documentaries on conservation; What Logan Did, Ajax the Kea Conservation Dog and Kārearea. Then hear from Kārearea Producer Sofia MacKenzie as she talks about how their short documentary came together and why they decided to feature New Zealand’s falcon.

Loading Docs is Aotearoa’s most successful short documentary initiative. With support from principal funder NZ On Air, along with the New Zealand Film Commission and Te Māngai Pāho, Loading Docs captivates and inspires audiences as well as develops and promotes New Zealand filmmaking talent. Every year Loading Docs selects a series of thought-provoking short documentary proposals, which are then supported from development through to distribution.

This is a free event open to members and non-members alike. A koha is appreciated to help with venue hire and general costs.
