Forge Building Class

Ever wanted to build you own gas forge for knife making or blacksmithing?
Option of small ($550) or large ($700) forge build.

In this class students will work with the tutor to create their own forge and learn about forging temperatures, how to maintain the forge and the tools you’ll need to get started.

This class will cover:
- How to build a forge, including:
- Where to buy forge building supplies
- How to set-up the forge burner
- Consideration when building a forge
- Forge maintenance
- Beginners forging tools and where to get them

There is a limit of only eight places per course, bookings are essentials as we purchase the equipment before the class.

From this workshop, students can continue on to make something in a knife making workshop, a blacksmithing workshop or receive private tutoring for a specific project.
