Fortress Europe

Fortress Europe once again return to Freida Margolis for another evening of Balkan inflected future-music.

An instrumental odyssey, Fortress Europe is the sound of the Old World smashing onto the New with an eclectic mix of complex rhythms, yearning violins, serpentine scales and surf guitars.

In keeping with the tradition of never playing Freida's with the same line-up, the show will feature some of Auckland's top musicians on piano, strings, guitar and double bass.
