Franklin Chess Club Night

Our chess club is on the rise, we meet in the Pukekohe Library in the Leslie Comrie Room.

The following are some of what makes our club what it is:
- We have a club coach so even if you can't play initially we can still help
- One of the lowest annual chess club membership fees in nz of only $15 individual or $30 for a family
opportunity to meet like minded people in a friendly welcome atmosphere
- Rated club championship (taking part optional)
- We are an associated club to the new zealand chess federation
- Interclub matches being/have been arranged versus thames ,hamilton chess clubs and others.
- Organised events such as chess simultaneous exhibitions against fide titled players etc
