Print event poster: http://spbc.org.nz/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Freedom-for-the-Future-Event-Poster.pdf

The Topic:
Constantine, the Reformation, and Globalisation: What do these events have to do with the church of today—and tomorrow? In this public seminar, leading church history scholar Dr Douglas A. Foster traces three of the most significant turning points in Christian history. Not just a history lesson, Dr Foster’s insights converge on Christianity right now, using lessons from the past to help Christians move ahead as a unified body, reaching out to the world.

The Speaker:
Dr Douglas A. Foster is one of the world's leading church historians. Foster is a former Director of the Center for Restoration Studies, and Associate Dean of Abilene Christian University's Graduate School of Theology. He has authored numerous books, with a focus on the history of the Stone-Campbell Movement. Foster is a regular visiting lecturer to the South Pacific Bible College in Tauranga, New Zealand.
