Friends of Karori Cemetery

This public meeting on Sunday 31 March will consider forming a Friends of Karori Cemetery group. Starting at 2.00pm. Venue, Main Chapel, Rosehaugh Avenue (free parking available).

There will be a presentation to explore options for setting up such a group, and to consider draft aims, objectives and potential activities. There will also be a presentation by a committee member of Friends of Bolton Street Cemetery, outlining the roles and activities of their Friends group.

After the presentations and discussion there will be an opportunity to take a short walk around the oldest parts of the cemetery to consider some of the heritage features.
