The Great Oxford Garage Sale Trail is back again, and this year promises to be just as exciting for bargain hunters. This is the 10th year it has been organised by Oxford Promotions and each time it has brought hundreds into our town from all over Canterbury. Last year’s event included over 50 garage sales!

Garage Sale venue maps will be available on the day from 9am to 11am at Pearson Park Oval, off Dohrmans Road, off Bay Road. After 11am by Pine Tree (Farmers Market carpark) Main Street, Oxford. Or you can sign up to receive one by email greatoxfordgaragesale@gmail.com A gold coin donation for the map to help with advertising would be appreciated.

Pop onto the Facebook page: Great Oxford Garage Sale Trail for more details & stay informed of all the Oxford events organised throughout the year on the Oxford Promotions Facebook page.

After the bargain hunting at the garage sales there is plenty to do in Oxford. Check out the Farmers Market where the seller is the producer. Grab some brunch and a coffee under the backdrop of the Southern Alps. The monthly Craft Market in the Town Hall has a wide range of items from our very talented locals. Take the time to relax in a café, visit the Art Gallery, Museum or shops.

Did you know that Oxford has its very own website? www.oxfordnewzealand.co.nz Here you’ll find information on retailers, dining options, accommodation providers, events, sports clubs and organisations, things to do, local walking tracks and much more!
