A legacy of Wellington’s summer is the large ‘smorgasbord’ of woody fruit structures, some still on trees and some on the ground.
A close-up look at these will be central to our consideration of the wider botanical character of this superb garden. This leisurely 90-minute walk will be all downhill.
Meet at Cable Car Entrance Lookout, Upland Road, Kelburn.
This walk is led by the Friends of the Wellington Botanic Garden.
