Hawaiian Massage Basic Course

For centuries the ancient art of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi massage has been used as a powerful tool for maintaining a healthy way of life. The strokes are long and flowing, using forearms and elbows, and giving the feeling of many hands on the body at once.

Each day you will learn new exercises and massage techniques designed to harness the power of the elements earth, air, water and fire. This massage is profoundly relaxing, creating a deep trance state to allow the receiver to identify and dissolve limiting beliefs that cause illness in the body

You will learn:
-The history and philosophy surrounding this work including the practice of ho'oponopono, and it's role in healing.

- Hawaiian chants, breath and movement exercises to activate your energy potential.

- Basic and advanced Lomi Lomi massage techniques including a full body routine with stretching and range of motion techniques.

- Techniques to open joint spaces and move fluids through
the body in their natural rhythm.

- Self-Lomi for honoring and maintaining your own body.

Most importantly you will gain powerful new tools to add to your healing practice in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

At the end of this workshop you will be able to perform a full body lomi lomi treatment and have a great many new techniques to complement your existing bodywork repertoire. Passing students receive a certificate for 20 AAMT approved CPE points.

The course is designed as continuing education for professional massage therapists.
There are 4 spots open to to those with some prior training in massage or related fields on a case by case basis.

Basic Lomi Lomi courses $695 when you book by January 31 and $775 after and you can save $50 each if you book with a friend.

Pay only $995 for any one of the basic courses and advanced Lomi Lomi course in Auckland March 25-26 if you book by January 31 $1095 after.
